Beloved mom of Kenneth (the late Judith) Wolski of Naperville, James (Yolanda) Wolski of Springfield, MO, Linda Gonzales of Bolingbrook, IL, Pamela Krska of Downers Grove, IL, and David (Deborah) Wolski of Oswego, IL. Adored grandma of Matthew (Amy) Wolski, Michael, Zachary, Levi and Jonah Wolski, Christopher, Daneel, Justin (Judith), Arika (fiancé Jesus Hernandez) Gonzales, Rebecca (Curtis) Herlin, Sarah (Cliff) Longeway, Joshua Krska, Emily (Nelson) Ruiz, Melissa, Abigail, Sam, Gabrielle, and Anne Marie Wolski. Loving great-grandma of 14 and great-great-grandma of 1. Dearest sister of Garrett (Irene) Roelfsema of Bradenton, FL, and the late Clarence (the late Janet), Bernice (the late Clarence) Deckinga, Sydney (the late Bert), and Alyce Loerup. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Wilma was a long-time employee of Illinois Bell. Upon retirement, Wilma became very active in the St. Margaret Mary Senior club and the funeral luncheon organization. Always a person that so enjoyed being with people, Wilma started another career working as a demonstrator for a variety of grocery stores, lastly with Costco until into her mid 80’s. She was very supportive to her family and friends. Wilma had many friends that she constantly kept in touch with by visiting, calling or e-mailing, yes she was a late 80 year old e-mailing until her vision made it too difficult. If you couldn’t get in touch with Wilma it was only because she was on the phone with one of her large group of friends. Wilma’s real enjoyment was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would do anything for those kids. While she was still able to get around, grandma would so enjoy watching them, taking them to the playground and of course lunch at McDonalds. When we either saw her or called, her first question was “How are you” and the second question she had was “How’s my grandchildren” or “that little one” and want to know everything. She then could give you an update on ALL her other children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren. The only thing that was better for her was to see them in person. She remembered it all. She will be dearly missed by many! In lieu of flowers, memorials to: Catholic Charities 3130 Finley Rd., Downers Grove, IL 60515, 630-495-8008. Visitation: Friday, September 11th 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
