<p>Benjamin Robert Hurt, age 38, of Battle Creek, passed away suddenly at home on Sept 6, 2020 He was born on October 4, 1981 in Battle Creek, the son of Randal Hurt and Sherry Stahlhood. Benjamin was a real handyman, he enjoyed restoring old items in his garage and reselling them. He loved camping, spending time with animals, and loved his 1993 Celica GT Convertible which he named “Vanna White”. He is survived by his parents, Brother; Cody Hurt, sister; Amber Byers, Son; Kyler (Day) Hurt, Fiance; Parri Norman, cousins; Sarah Hurt and Jason Hurt, Grandmother; Ann Kingsnorth, Grandfather; George Hurt. and grandma “D” and Rex Stahlhood. In addition, his beloved Fur babies Buddy & Mannie. He will be missed by many. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2020 at Beckley Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calhoun County Animal Center.
