Pam Carr, age 56 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020. With the most radiant smile, Pamela’s presence would light up the room as she gave every piece of herself to care for others, regardless of whether they were family. When it came to those she loved, she was always on the front row as their biggest fan and the quickest to ensure that everyone had been fed. Speaking of food, the holidays were very special to Pam as she showed her love by guaranteeing each person attending had their favorite dish on the menu. She was an exceptional cook. When her children were younger, Pam dedicated her time to supporting their development, but in recent years, she assumed the role as the primary caregiver for her mother and uncle. Uniquely, regardless of the situation, Pam would fiercely love, quickly forgive, and always show grace. Pam was preceded in death by Wesley and Geneva McGill (maternal grandparents), Clifford and Lunettia Matthews (paternal grandparents), and Lon Matthews (father). Familial survivors include Anna Faye Matthews (mother), Leon McGill (uncle), Casey Carr (son) and Abby, Sarah Carr, Tevin, and Christine (daughter, husband, and granddaughter), Joshua Carr (son), Patricia and Luis Muñasque (sister and husband), Angela and Jarryd (niece and husband), Don Luis (nephew), Seth (nephew), and Lucas, Carla, Carolyn, and Chloe (nephew, wife, and daughters). Pam was a member of First Baptist Church Sevierville, and a dedicated employee of the City of Sevierville for almost 20 years. Pam loved traveling, horticulture, animals, and reading. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with those that she loved. She will be dearly missed but the memories of her will forever be cherished. All services will be private, but flowers can be delivered to Mountain View Baptist Church.
