Mary Jo Parrish, 61, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 6, 2020. She was born October 18, 1958 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Vincent Parrish (Director of the VA Hospital) and Josephine Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Karen Parrish.

She leaves to cherish in memory her step-mother, Mary Kelly Parrish; siblings, Kathy Heller and James (Jeanie) Parrish; two nieces and two nephews, Madison Parrish, Ainsley Parrish, Matthew Heller, and Shawn (Jessica) Heller; one great-niece, Zoey Heller; one great-nephew, Ronnie Heller; a special aunt, Marge Zanella and her daughter, Jean Zanella; two loving caregivers, Espy Reynosa and Yolonda Davis.

Mary Jo attended the Pathfinder Workshop for a number of years, where she absolutely loved her job and work family. She enjoyed swimming and won many awards from Special Olympics for swimming. She attended church at Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She also attended Metropolitan Baptist Church in Little Rock for fourteen years.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to  6:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2020, with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Joliet, IL.

Memorials may be made to Pathfinders or Immaculate Conception Church.
