Suzanne Marie Parker Obituary

Suzanne Marie (Taft) Parker, forever 39 years young, peacefully passed away, September 6th, 2020. Suzanne was born in Middlesex England on February 2nd, 1954, to James and Mary (Bernie) Taft. Sue attended Harper Creek Schools and was a lifelong Beaver Believer. She was a passionate NASCAR fan and spent many weekends in Indy camping next to the speedway. She was a diehard Dale Ernhardt and Dale Ernhardt Jr., fan. Sue loved country music and spent many nights at the kitchen table with family and friends singing and reminiscing. She loved to watch her shows, especially American Idol. Everyone knew not to call during show time. Sue had strong family values and cherished time spend with her family. Her home was home to her children and many of their friends over the years. She would never let anyone go without. Even when times were tough, Sue would find a way to make things happen. She was so very smart and full of wit. Sue is survived by her mother, Bernie Taft; siblings James (Vicki) Taft II, Sandra (Russell) Sawyer, Rolly (Julie) Taft, Charles Taft and Anne Clark; children, Timothy (Emily) Parker, Brian (Cheri) Parker, Justin (Tahnee) Parker, Kacee (Jason) Wickham, and Tara Parker and life-long friend Chris Voss. She was affectionately known as Glamma (as glamorous women with grandchildren who is too young and fabulous to be called grandma) by her 16 grandchildren, Max and Madeline Parker, Annabelle, Brian Jr and Benjamin Parker, Brayden, Desirae, and Tegan Parker, Baylee and Kylee Burge, Malakhi Smith, Cuyler and Carter Wickham, and Payton Parker and Kileigh Clear and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father James Taft Sr., infant brother James Jr., infant granddaughter Aislin Parker and nephew Bradley Brubaker. Her best days were spent watching her shows, doing nails and organizing games and projects with Payton and Kileigh. In accordance with Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help cover final expenses.
