Donna Eileen Gory Obituary

Donna was born in Paradise Hill, SK on October 11, 1959, the 8th child of Rose & Louis Schlekewy. In 1977, Donna met the love of her life, Clinton Gory; they were married on October 9, 1982.
Family always came first for Donna. Gardening, flowers, cooking, baking and her many good friends and family brought joy to her life.
Donna lived all her life in St. Walburg. After graduating she worked at Beaver Lumber for a short while and then went to work at Lakeland Lodge for 37 years; first as a Care Aide and then in Housekeeping.
She was a faithful member of the CWL, God always came first on Sunday morning, right up to her passing. Donna never was a mother, but a good Godmother to two very special people in her life, Calla Soberanis and Kelsey Wagner. She was a special daughter and sister to her mother and siblings.
Donna is survived by: her husband, Clinton; her mother, Rose Schlekewy; her siblings, Rosemarie (Cliff Ferguson), Joanne (Ron Harris), Madeline Smith and her children, Chad Smith, Corine Smith White (Darren White) and their son, Lawson and daughter, Frankie, Dorothy and her son, Dean (Jill) and their daughter, Mira and son, Kaz, Shirley (Norman Passmore), James, John (Sandra) and their daughters, Kelsi & Jodi, Geraldine (Herb Giesbrecht) and their daughters, Raya (Justin), Calla (Angel), and Alana; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Gory; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosemarie (Russell Cook), Darrel (Rose Lynn) and their three girls, Desiree and her son, Dominic, Jillian (Travis Sharko)  and their son, Oliver and daughter, Eberlee,  Alysha (Jordy Molella), Lillian (Mervin McGowan) and their sons, Spenser (Kristen) and their daughter, Emma and son, Jax, and Curtis (Amanda) and their son, Aiden and daughter, Zoey, Barry (Wendy).
She will once again be smiling as she now reunites with her Dad, Louis; her brother, Robert, her grandparents, Matthew and Anna Schlekewy, Andrew and Rosa Bolig; and her father-in-law, Alex Gory.
Donna led a full and happy life and her memories will live on. We will miss Donna and all the love she gave us.
