It is with great sorrow that the family of Margaret Williams (nee Parsons) announce her peaceful passing on August 31, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Margaret is survived by her children Phil Williams (Terry), Dan Williams, Dave Williams (Sonia), and Kevin Williams, and 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by brother Bobby and sister Lily Pinkerton. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Phillip Williams, her daughter, Susan Toma and her parents, Sidney and Lilias Parsons. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Feb 18, 1926. Margaret experienced the events of WWII. During this time, Margaret met her husband, Phillip who was stationed there. After the war, Margaret became a ‘war bride’ and moved to Canada. Calgary and Edmonton were the places where Margaret raised her 5 children. Besides being a Mom, Margaret spent most of her working career in the ‘Service industry’. The Plaza theater in Calgary was Margaret’s favourite place of employment. Margaret loved to travel and grow flowers…and the greatest love was her family! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
