Dorothy Mae Coleman 83, transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 surrounded by family. She was born on March 18, 1937 to the late Ollie Sr. and Vandella Braye in the Princess Anne County section of Virginia Beach, VA.
Dorothy was educated in the Virginia Beach School system and was a graduate of Princess Anne County Training School. Soon after graduation she attended Business College and obtained a Business Degree. Dorothy was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with them and her friends. When she wasn’t spending time with her family you could find her spending recreational time at the casino.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Ollie Sr. and Vandella Braye; brothers, Ollie Braye Jr., Jacob T. Braye; and sister, Mary S. Woodhouse.
She leaves to cherish her legacy, her brother, Willie L. Braye; special friends, Denise Crawford, Mike Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and her beloved Maryland family.
