Dena was born in Shelley, Idaho on December 11, 1948 to Dean and Dorothy Huntsman.  She was raised on a farm and loved to help her dad milk the cows.  She would graduate from Shelley High School and attend Ricks College for one year before receiving a calling to go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to England.  Following her mission she would move to Burley, Idaho and live with her sister Brenda and getting a job at Kings Department Store.  Her sister would eventually introduce her to the love of her life Tom Rigby and later on June 9, 1972 they were married and sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.  They eventually moved to Sublett where they would help run the family farm.  Dena and Tom later moved to Utah for several years before making Idaho there home again.  Dena had several callings in the church, her favorite was to play the piano.  She loved to do service.  She helped out at the Humanitarian Center in Rupert and also volunteered at Deseret Industries.  She enjoyed doing Diamond paintings and coloring pictures of Owls.

Dena is survived by her children William (Bonnie) Rigby, Jeff Rigby, Tiffany (Kyle) Kunder, Cindy (Justin) Cottle, Mother Dorothy Huntsman, Siblings Craig (Debbie) Huntsman, Brenda Kelloe, Lelanie (Ardel) Moffet, Mark (Tracy) Huntsman, Brother-in-Law  Ray Malott, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Tom Rigby, Father Dean Huntsman, sisters Cherrie Huntsman and Laurie MaLott and grandson in law Chase Barnedt.
