David Clyde Eaton

David Clyde Eaton, age 81, of Corsicana went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2020. He was born on August 11, 1939 in Mineral wells, Texas to Joe and Lilly Eaton. He was married to Patsy Rouse Eaton from Palo Pinto, Texas and they celebrated 61 years of marriage on August 15, 2020. Both David and Patsy said that their life together had been a wonderful journey. David was a Masonry Contractor for 65 years and built some historic buildings around Ft. Worth, Texas. David was preceded in death by his parents. Patsy and David were blessed with five children and their families: David Gregg Eaton and wife Becky, Thomas Eaton and wife Tiffany, Patty Bezpalko and husband Steve, Olga Foster and husband Mike, and Chuy Eaton and wife Crystal. They enjoyed sharing their lives with 15 grandchildren and the numbers continue to grow with 14 great-grandchildren. They were also blessed with nieces and nephews. Funeral services for David will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00AM at Corley Funeral Home with Pastor Sage Pruett officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Eaton, Justin Eaton, Nick Eaton, Noah Eaton, Jake Eaton, Luke Watts and Mikel David Foster. The private burial will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:15AM at The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors and Pastor Sage Pruett officiating. There will be live streaming of the funeral service on the Corley Funeral Home website and selecting the David Clyde Eaton page. (There will also be a showing of the service at Believers Bible Church at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020.) The family has requested that memorials be made to Believers Bible Church at 2400 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, Texas 75110. Wearing of masks and social distancing will be enforced.
