Funeral services for Mary K. Marvin age 75 of West Point, NE will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE with Pastor Priscilla Hukki officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorials have been suggested to Trinity Church, Cuming County Relay for Life, or the John A. Stahl Library in Mary's name. We are following all current health directives regarding COVID-19. We will social distance by household. Masks are recommended. Mary passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Azria Health in Ashland, NE. Mary Kay (Pahl) Marvin was born on August 15, 1946 to Elmer “Chub” and Elsie (Larson) Pahl in West Point, NE. She graduated from Oakland High School and attended the Lincoln School of Commerce. On October 8, 1967 she married Dennis Wolf in Fremont, NE and they later divorced. Mary worked as a secretary for two law firms in Fremont and Hammond & Stephens, Co. On April 11, 1980, she married Larry Marvin in West Point and they later divorced. Upon moving to West Point, she was employed at the Moodie Law Firm. Mary was a member of Trinity Church in West Point and it’s Afternoon Guild. She loved to read, and corresponding with family and friends and never missed sending a Birthday Card. Survivors include- Son-John Paul and Melissa Marvin of Fremont, NE Grandchildren-Joseph Marvin, Jaxon Marvin and Hayley Marvin She is also survived by cousins and many wonderful friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents-Elmer and Elsie Pahl, infant daughter-Erin Marvin, and her beloved Toy Poodle “Daisy”.
