Amanda Kay (Wilkerson) Cox, 36, of Parksville, KY, passed away in Danville, KY Wednesday September 2, 2020. She was born June 22, 1984 in Marion County, KY to the late Daniel Wilkerson and surviving mother, Alice (Beard) Wilkerson. Amanda loved to be with family and friends. Her laugh was so contagious with a personality that was contagious as well. She loved her cats and loved butterflies and unicorns. Surviving are her husband, Dylan Cox, two children, Zachary Tyler Sparkman, and Brayden Jaye Sparkman, a sister, Brandi Danielle Shouse (Eric), a brother, Aaron Mitchell Wilkerson (Stephanie), a grandmother whom raised her, Victoria Jean Wilkerson, two uncles that were like brothers, Gregory Russell Wilkerson and Charles "Chuck" Wilkerson, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her dad, Amanda is preceded in death by her grandfather whom raised her, Danny Wilkerson, her great grandmother, Rachel Wilkerson, and her daughter Rylan Marissa Cox. A private funeral/memorial service will be held at 5pm in Lancaster, KY Sunday September 13, 2020. Family and friends will be notified.
