Obituary

Donna May Warfield-Adcock, age 77, passed on peacefully at her home in Chester, MD on September 3, 2020 after a very courageous yearlong battle with cancer.

Donna was born on May 7, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Samuel and Thelma Warfield. She was married to Edward Adcock and raised three children.

Donna May loved to fish. She spent her entire life fishing and when she had spare time you could catch her with a rod in her hand. One of her favorite things to pass the time was going to the casino and man did she love the casino. She was a fan of keno and enjoyed a good game of bingo with her girls. She enjoyed waking up on the weekends and catching an early morning yard sale with a coffee in hand. She loved spending time with her family. So much so, she would go around house to house dividing her time between every one of them.

One of her best qualities was taking care of loved ones. She lived her whole life being a caregiver. Whenever someone needed her she packed her bags and she was on her way. She always made sure she provided the best care possible to those she loved. Donna always said, “it would land me a spot in Heaven one day.” So, when she became sick there was no question, she would receive the same care in return.

Donna was one of eighteen children born to Samuel and Thelma Warfield who have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Edward Adcock and daughter Angela Adcock-Guevara.

She is survived in death by her daughter Tina Herron and husband and son Anthony Adcock and wife. Grandchildren Jeremy, Amber, Justin, Adam, Joshua, Ashley, and Monica. Great-Grandchildren Caelin, Makenzie, Emma, Dalanie, Dauson, Joshua Jr, Elanor, Sofia and Harmony.

The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the care given by Hospice of Chester MD.
