Shirley Kathleen Ebersole
<p><em><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Shirley Kathleen Ebersole of Catonsville, MD announce her passing on September 3, 2020, at the age of 89 years.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Shirley was born in Hershey, PA on March 2, 1931 to the late Henry and Helen Stump. While attending Hershey High School, Shirley met her future husband of 68 years, Benjamin Paul Ebersole with whom she would spend the rest of her life.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">She will be lovingly remembered by her children Bradley (Gail), Eric (Tara), and Andrew (CJ) Ebersole. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Diane Wiegard and Audrey Woods, 6 grandchildren, Lindsay, Lauren, Caroline, Rebecca, James, and Maxwell, 6 great grandchildren, Lena, Nora, Thomas, Violet, Natalie, and Grant, and numerous other friends and relatives.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">A graduate of Shippensburg State College, Shirley spent her teaching career at Western School of Technology and continued to enjoy honing her technical skills well into retirement. She was an active member of The Women's Club of Catonsville and enjoyed reading, playing mahjong, watching baseball, and having lunch with her friends. She had a loving spirit, a generous nature, and a zest for life.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Details regarding a memorial service will be announced on this site soon.
