William R. Hine, age 87, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia Chedister Hine, died on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Connecticut Hospice.  William was born in Meriden, CT on October 30, 1932 to the late Clarence and Lillian Delaney Hine.  William was a proud veteran and served in the US Air Force for four years.  He was a supervisor at Milford Rivet for 42 years.  William loved golf and was a talented carpenter.  Survivors include his children: William Jr. (Jenny), Debra (Kenny), Jeffrey, Darnese (Wes) and Dorrae (Frank), step-children; Lisa (Umberto), Suzan (Stephen), Christine (David), and Johnny (Sara), his 102 year old, Aunt Gladys, whom he had tea with every Thursday, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  William is predeceased by his brother and sister, Peter, and Pauline Hine.  A Celebration of William’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Patricia Hine to help with funeral expenses.
