Elizabeth Anne Tichinel

Elizabeth Anne Tichinel, 51 of Salem passed away on Sunday, September 06, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born March 31, 1969 in Cumberland, MD, daughter of Jerry Eugene Gentry of Ridgeley, WV and the late Judy Mae Clark Gentry. Elizabeth graduated from Frankfort High School, Class of 1987 and received her associate’s degree from Potomac State College. She was a Kindergarten teacher at Emmanuel Christian School. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, working in the flower garden and canning. Elizabeth was a member of the West Union First Assembly of God. In addition to her father, Elizabeth is survived by her husband Jeffrey Hayes Tichinel whom she married on June 20, 1992; two children, Victoria Morgan Tichinel and Nathaniel Brian Tichinel both at home; one sister, Rachel Ellen Bridges and Edward, Medina, OH; one brother, David Scott Gentry and Catherine “Elaine”, Ridgeley, WV; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Darrell Sheridan and Phyllis Ann Silver Tichinel, Ridgeley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W Main Street, Salem, WV, on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 2-7 pm and at Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church,1014 Walnut Bottom Rd, Swanton, MD 21561, on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 11AM until time of funeral service at 1:00PM with Pastor Joe Hoggard officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
