It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice (Budgell) Burton announces her passing. Beatrice was ushered into the presence of the Lord at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, September 7th, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her husband - Jordan Burton; son - Terry Burton; parents - Warrick & Mary Budgell; parents-in-law - John & Beatrice Burton; half-sisters - Selina Jacobs (Jack), Patience Andrews (Stewart) and brother-in-law - Freeman Critch. Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children - Roy Burton (Loretta), Leamington, ON, Barry Burton (Gladys), La Scie, NL, Nola Lush (Harvey), Burlington, NL, Jessie Saunders (Kerry), Rocky Mountain House, AB, Edith Manuel (Roger), Corner Brook, NL; siblings - James Budgell (Lily) and Lillian Critch, both of La Scie, NL; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; special friends - Karen March, Diane Prowse and Malcom Foster; staff and residents of the White Bay Retirement Centre as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation. Pastor Ricardo Durdle, assisted by Pastor Craig Lane conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL. Interment followed at Faith Pentecostal Cemetery in Mills’ Cove. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert Hancock for taking care of the live streaming of the funeral service.
