Richard Watson Hill Sr was born to Clarence Hill Sr and Marion White in Detroit, Michigan on December 2, 1943. He is survived by Helen Hill, his wife of 53 years. They had three sons, Richard Jr, Sidney (his wife, Sheila), and David Hill. Three precious grandchildren, Landon, Carly, and Zoey Hill. He had five brothers and two sister. Clarence Hill Jr (his wife, Valerie), Dilman "Kip" Hill, Sidney Hill (his wife, Vera), William A. Hill (Deceased) and Curtis Hill (Deceased); two sisters Jesselyn Hill (Deceased), and Deborah Thomas (her husband, Thomas). Special brother-in-law, Odis Hunter. Many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends who mourn his loss and have the joyful hope of seeing him again in a future earthly resurrection. In 1962, he graduated from Cass Tech High in Detroit, Michigan. Retried from AT&T as a telecommunication consultant. As such, he was instrumental in assisting the Watchower Society in international networking and later help introduce the internet to the business world. He began his association with Jehovah's Witnesses in 1956. Along with his older brother, Clarence Jr, he was baptized on August 19, 1961. He entered the full-time ministry in 1963. In 1966, he was married to Helen Hunter, who was already in the full-time ministry. They each spent 60 years ministering in Detroit, Michigan; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Laurens, SC aiding and assisting their sons and many others to dedication and baptism to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ.
