LaVoyce Ann Doskocil Obituary

LaVoyce Ann Doskocil, age 77, of Westphalia passed from this life during the mid-morning hours of Saturday, September 5, 2020 at a Temple care facility. Born on the 29th day of December 1942 in Bell County she was the daughter of Thomas and Nora (Tucker) Punchard. As a young lady LaVoyce grew up in East Bell County; she graduated from Rogers High School. LaVoyce married Calvin Doskocil in Westphalia on September 9, 1962. From that time on she and Calvin set out to build a life and a family together that would eventually include three children. She was extremely involved her children’s life and school activities including the Bell County Youth Fair where she judged show projects for many years, Falls County 4-H and the Leedale EEA Club. Even into her retired years LaVoyce was a big supporter of the local 4-H clubs and the kids involved with them. She loved to craft, especially quilting, and sewing. She has been a resident of Westphalia since 1962 and she was a parishioner of Church of the Visitation in Westphalia. LaVoyce is preceded in death by her husband Calvin, son Billy, her parents Thomas and Nora as well as one brother Floyd Punchard. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Dawn Zoeller and husband Paul of Fort Mill, SC, son Bobby Doskocil and wife Kimberly of Seaton, and daughter-in-law Leticia Doskocil of Robinson. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren Tawnee and Chase O’Brien, Stephen Zoeller, Alexis Sefton and husband Jacob, Sarah Zoeller as well as Evan and Rebecca Doskocil. She also leaves 4 great-grandchildren Caiden and Camdyn Peoples, Colt O’Brien and Logan Sefton. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10 o’clock a.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia with Father Darrell Kostiha officiating. The family will be accepting visitors at the church starting at 9 o’clock a.m. Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
