<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Charles Farrell Irvin, age 76, of Demorest, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 05, 2020.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on December 27, 1943, he was a son of the late Emory Pinkney &amp; Ollie Mae Gunn Irvin. Charles worked for the Department of Pardon &amp; Parole Board and retired with many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed spending precious time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, &amp; great-grandchildren. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed flower gardening, landscaping his yard, keeping up with his fish pond, &amp; morning outings with his friends with&nbsp;the Breakfast Club at the Stew &amp; Que Restaurant in Baldwin. He was a member of the Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge #141 F&amp; A.M. for over 48 years. Charles was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church where he was active part of the Good News Sunday School Class.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Trevor Goodson; brothers, James &ldquo;Bo&rdquo; Irvin, Bobby Irvin, Maxie Irvin, &amp; Jerry Irvin.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Dolores Wiley Irvin of Demorest, GA; daughter &amp; son-in-law, Sharon &amp; Randy Goodson; son &amp; daughter-in-law, Jeff &amp; Carol Irvin all of Alto, GA; grandchildren, Tanner &amp; Brittany Goodson &amp; their daughter, Eloise of Suwanee, GA; Nathan &amp; Kellie Shewbert &amp; their son, Bryson of Cleveland, GA; Tyler &amp; Whittney Goodson &amp; their sons, Asher &amp; Thatcher of Alto, GA; Taylor Goodson of Commerce, GA; sister &amp; brother-in-law, Marviene &amp; George Dean; brother, Tommy Irvin all of Clarkesville, GA;&nbsp;</strong></span><strong style="font-size: 18px;">brother-in-law &amp; sister-in-law, Todd &amp; Kay Wiley of Cleveland, GA;&nbsp;</strong><strong style="font-size: 18px;">sister-in-law, Edith Irvin of Cornelia, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, &amp; a host of friends.</strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 08, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Dr. Brian James &amp; Mr. Todd Wiley officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery with Rev. Terry Rice officiating at the graveside. Masonic rites will be provided by the Mt.
