Russell, 57 of Saint Joseph, LA will be held at Legion Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11AM with Bro. Larry Foster officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Jamie was born on Saturday, December 01, 1962 in Lake Village , AR and passed away Saturday, September 05, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving wife, momma, and Gan-gan. She loved shopping with her daughters, hunting and fishing with her husband and boys. Jamie enjoyed anthing that had to do with her family, especially lake days and holidays. She always carried herself well and wouldn't leave the house without her hair and makeup to a "T". Jamie retired after 25 years at the LSU AgCenter in St. Joseph. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, James Anthony Mulligan; step-father, Paul Capps; and sister, Rose Montgomery. Jamie leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Huey "Rusty" Pierce Russell, Jr. of St. Joseph, LA; mother, Christine Stought Capps of Magee, AR; son, Joshua Blake Russell & wife Jodie Etheridge Russell of Crowville, LA; two daughters, Jennifer Christine Russell of Monroe, LA and Sarah Russell Legg & her husband Corbin of Monroe, LA; son, Samuel Pierce Russell of Ferriday, LA; two grandchildren, Anna Claire Russell and Evan Blake Russell; and half brother, Johnny Carver. Pallbearers will be Calvin Davis, Tim Gregory, James Hendrix, Dennis Burns, Truman Goldman, and Ronnie McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Killen and Lee Kifer. The family will receive friends at Legion Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 10AM until service time at 11AM.
