<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Mrs. Betty Joe Moore Norris, 69, of Oaklawn Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at her residence.</p> <p>Betty was born on June 8, 1951 to the late Joe Moore and Betty Smith Moore in Davidson County. She was a faithful member of Thomasville Church of God. Betty will be remembered for her faith in the Lord, and her love of family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Moore.</p> <p>Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Dwain Norris of the home; two sons, Jeff Norris and wife Sherri of Lexington, Shad Norris and wife Chelsea of Thomasville; two brothers, Joe Don Moore and wife Angela of Thomasville, Kirby Moore of Lexington; three grandchildren, Joshua Norris and fianc&eacute; Angel Deavers, Michaela Norris, Hailey Pryce, all of Lexington; three great grandchildren, Nova Grace Norris, Ayden, and Addison; special friends, Adam and Bonnie Smith, James House; special church buddy, Tulla Causey.</p> <p>A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Thomasville Church of God with Rev. C Alan Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Thomasville Church of God. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.</p>

Mrs. Betty Joe Moore Norris, 69, of Oaklawn Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at her residence.

Betty was born on June 8, 1951 to the late Joe Moore and Betty Smith Moore in Davidson County. She was a faithful member of Thomasville Church of God. Betty will be remembered for her faith in the Lord, and her love of family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Moore.

Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Dwain Norris of the home; two sons, Jeff Norris and wife Sherri of Lexington, Shad Norris and wife Chelsea of Thomasville; two brothers, Joe Don Moore and wife Angela of Thomasville, Kirby Moore of Lexington; three grandchildren, Joshua Norris and fiancé Angel Deavers, Michaela Norris, Hailey Pryce, all of Lexington; three great grandchildren, Nova Grace Norris, Ayden, and Addison; special friends, Adam and Bonnie Smith, James House; special church buddy, Tulla Causey.
