Francis J. McPherson, 86, of Canton, passed away on September 5, 2020 at Brewster Parke. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Frank and Willa (Johnson) McPherson. He was a dedicated and devoted family man as well as a hard worker. Francis worked at Fleming’s Food for 20 years before retiring and prior to that he worked at Republic Steel for 19 years. He will be deeply missed by his children Terry (Jackie) McPherson, Penny Ann (Mike) Wilson, Tim (Jennifer) McPherson, Renay McPherson and Frank “Todd” (Kim) McPherson; 2 step-daughters Tammy (Dave) Hathaway and Pamela (Bouncer) Pandrea; 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his wife Joyce and his son Bryan “BJ”. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time. Final resting place will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Massillon.
