<p>John Allen Rackie of Oakdale passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 78. &nbsp;He is&nbsp;the son of the late John and Rose Rackie. &nbsp;John&nbsp;is survived by his sons Deron (Daneen) Rackie, and Brian Rackie; brother Robert (Arlene) Rackie; grandchildren Curtis, Brett, and Bailee Rackie; niece Kimberly (Bob) Belicose; mother of his children Patricia Rackie; Gregory Pencosky and many cousins and friends.</p> <p>After completing high school, John served four years in the United States Air Force. &nbsp;He retired from USAir in 1995 after more than 30 years of employment.&nbsp;</p> <p>Family and friends will be welcomed in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway, Stowe/Kennedy Township, on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. &nbsp;A Blessing Service will take place in the&nbsp;funeral home on Friday at 10am followed by Military Honors. &nbsp;Interment in Chartiers Cemetery.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Wounded Warriors Foundation in honor of John.</p> <p>As per the PA Department of Health, please wear a mask and practice social distancing to ensure everyone&#39;s safety.</p>

Obituary

John Allen Rackie of Oakdale passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 78.  He is the son of the late John and Rose Rackie.  John is survived by his sons Deron (Daneen) Rackie, and Brian Rackie; brother Robert (Arlene) Rackie; grandchildren Curtis, Brett, and Bailee Rackie; niece Kimberly (Bob) Belicose; mother of his children Patricia Rackie; Gregory Pencosky and many cousins and friends.

After completing high school, John served four years in the United States Air Force.  He retired from USAir in 1995 after more than 30 years of employment. 

Family and friends will be welcomed in the Sanvito Funeral Home, 1650 Broadway, Stowe/Kennedy Township, on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  A Blessing Service will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 10am followed by Military Honors.  Interment in Chartiers Cemetery.
