<p>John &quot;Jay&quot; Rivers, Jr., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 5, 2020.&nbsp; Mr. Rivers was a member of Covington First United Methodist Church and Director of Operations at Delfield.&nbsp; The husband of Ann Belter Rivers, he also leaves his daughter Abigail Leigh &quot;Abbie&quot; (Benton) Lindsey of Brighton; his sons Gabriel John &quot;Gabe&quot; (Charley) Rivers of Atlanta, GA, and Eric Christopher Allen of Cadillac, MI; sister Sallie Rivers of Ashville, NC; brothers Ben Rivers of Fairburn, GA, Andy Rivers of Crofton, Maryland, and Joe Rivers of Cadillac, MI; and grandchildren John Carlyle &quot;Jack&quot;&nbsp;Lindsey, Luke Rivers Lindsey, William Seabrook Lindsey, Camden Christopher Allen, Adriana Rae Allen, Anna Charles Rivers, and Mary Margaret Seabrook Rivers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends 5-7PM Tuesday, September 8, at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home.&nbsp; Private graveside services are planned for&nbsp;&nbsp;Wednesday, September 9, at Covington Memorial Gardens.</p>
