<p>Larry Dean Slape, age 73 of Mound City, Kansas passed away at his home on September 5, 2020.&nbsp; Larry was born the son of Clarence and Katherine Alice Burton Slape on November 5, 1946 in Harrison, Arkansas.&nbsp; He married Mary C. Schroeder on May 2, 1968 at Kansas City, Missouri, to this union three children were born.&nbsp; Larry was a handyman and tinkerer throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing and watching westerns.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Clarence Dean Slape, a daughter, Mary Ann Ballard.&nbsp; Larry is survived by his wife, a daughter, Billie Jo Mann and husband, Willie, two&nbsp;sisters Linda Goza and husband, Bob, Theresa Logan, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.</p> <p>Services will be held at a later date.&nbsp; The family suggest contributions to a charity of your choice and may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 525 Pleasanton, KS&nbsp; 66075</p>
