Mrs. Geneva Goard Foley, age 89 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away at her home on Saturday, September 5, 2020.  She was born in Patrick County on September 26, 1930, to the late Dennis Goard and Pearl Goad Goard.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Foley; three children, Eva Mae Foley, Lois Marie Jordan, and Allen Wayne Foley; and five siblings, Lelia East, Irvin Goard, Albert Goard, Edgar Goard, and Lois Worley.  Geneva was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

        Mrs. Foley is survived by four children, Carolyn Foley Rakes (Bobby) of Powhatan, Pete Foley (Dee) of Stuart, Trish F. Hylton (Bobby) of Patrick Springs, and Robert Lee Foley (Kathy) of Patrick Springs; six grandchildren, Leslie Nutter (Brian), Janna Foley, Tyler Foley ( Becka), Cleve Foley (Mirium), Mica Conner (April), and Jenna Gray and husband, Mike Barker; nine great-grandchildren, Sydney, Morgan, Preston, Scarlett, Finagan, Lillian, Haley, Danielle, and Logan; one great-great-grandchild, Oliver; four siblings, Bobby Goard of Stuart, Pauline Epperly of Patrick Springs, Nannie Ruth Lawson of Stuart, and Elaine Hughes of Patrick Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

        A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in New Beginnings Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Wright and Pastor J.R. Shelton officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church, P.O.
