John William Tisdale

Mr. John William Tisdale was born December 31, 1958 in Hardeman County to the late Mr. Eddie Ray and Bessy Mae Tisdale.

His service was held on Sunday September 13, 2020 at 2:30 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Minister James Morgan in charge.  Burial was in the Grand Junction cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

John Tisdale and attended the Hardeman County public schools.

He served our country in United States Army and retired at Fort Stewart GA in 1983. He was employed with the United States Post Office.

John loved life and his family. He love family and basketball. Anyone that knew him knew how he loved his truck.

John was united in Holy Matrimony to Janice Louise Tisdale July 1980.

John was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Darnell Tisdale.

John leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife; Janice Louise Tisdale: one daughter; Latoya Tisdale of Grand Junction, TN: three brothers; John Demetrick Tisdale of Holly Springs, MS, Moncrief Golden of Corinth, MS, and Rodney Golden of Byhalia, MS: four brothers; Charlie Lee Tisdale, Willie Arthur Tisdale, Willie James Tisdale, and Gary Michael Tisdale: seven sisters; Marlean Jackson, Virginia Williams, Gladys McGowan, Dorothy Crews, Bessy Lee Williams, Elma Ray (Charlie) Woods, and Norma Tisdale: one sister in law; Regina Tisdale: two special friends; Clenzel Polk and Calvin Golden and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
