Rev. Ronald Garfield Robbins, age 83, a resident of Muddy Creek Road, Archdale went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born on February 4, 1937 in Randolph County, NC. He was the son of the late Garfield Finley Robbins and Faye Lucille Holder Robbins. Rev. Robbins was a graduate of God’s Bible School in 1962. He served as a Missionary with Evangelistic Faith Missions for thirteen years. After his concluding work with missions he served as a pastor with Faith Community Chapel in Thomasville, the Bible Methodist Chapel in Pinellas Park, FL and the Bible Holiness Church in Randleman. He and his wife attended and were members of Trinity Holiness Church in Sophia, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Ronald Robbins. He was married on July 22, 1960 to Mrs. Margaret Faith Rodgers Robbins who survives of Thomasville. Also surviving are his daughter, Rachel Faye Shrum and husband Jason of Lexington; one son, Timothy Nathan Robbins of Archdale; two sisters, Sylvia Link and husband Odell of Mebane, and Kathy Stallings and husband Joe of Archdale; one brother, Leon Robbins and wife Patsy of Archdale; his daughter-in-law, Rebekah Ruth Robbins of Port St. Lucie, Fl;  four granddaughters, Olivia Brooke Stewart and husband Wesley of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Holley Deonna Lavy and husband Brent of Port St. Lucie, Fl., Morgan LeeAnn Pope and husband Joseph of Lexington, Madison Faye Shrum of Lexington; and three great-grandsons, Oliver John Lavy, Dennis Finn Stewart, and Jackson Brooks Dennis Lavy.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Odell Link and Mr. Joe Stallings officiating. The interment will follow at Trinity Holiness Church in Sophia, NC. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville, NC.
