A graveside service for Mrs. Frankie Nell Ward will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2020, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Calvin Halcomb and Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Ward Sr., her parents Sallie Mae and James N. Skipper, a brother Billy Skipper, and a son-in-law Keith Lord.  She is survived by her children: James E. Ward Jr. and Bertha, Diane Lord, Ben Ward and Patti, Kathy Woodard, and Thomas.  Also, surviving are eight grandchildren: Stephanie Lord, Tara McClure (Brandon), Cody Lord (Lora), Blaine Lord (Jenifer), Jana Sirmons (Casey), Seth Ward, Megan Ward, and Benjamin Woodard.  Survivors include her great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Jacob and Parker Lord, Mac and Maggie Shae Lord, Trae and McKinley Myers, Ryder and Malea Sirmons, and Sarah and Lauren McClure.  Mrs. Ward also leaves behind her sister, Patricia Brownlee, and her brothers Ronnie Skipper and Mike Skipper (Kathy).  She has numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ward was a faithful and very active member of Dexter Baptist Church.  She was an involved participant in the family business, Ward’s Service Center, until her death.  She was loved by all her family and will be greatly missed.
