Mr. Lloyd Clarence Beck, 93, a resident of Thomasville passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. He was born on August 28, 1927 in Davidson County to the late John Beck and Nettie Sechrist. He was a longtime member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Thomasville where he was part of the United Methodist Men. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Sanders; mother of his children, Dorothy Beck; wife, Sarah Beck; and wife, Mary Beck.

Surviving are his three children, Brenda Byrd and husband Sammy, Robert Beck and girlfriend Susan, and L.C. Beck and wife Elizabeth, all of Thomasville; two sisters, Evelyn Coggins and Bernice Curry, both of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Crystal, Jamie, Justin, Joey, and Stephanie; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 7, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Fairview United Methodist Church cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Duane Corle officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church cemetery. Mr. Beck will lie in state at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for anyone to come pay their respects.
