April 30, 1958- September 1, 2020 David J Alvarez of Surprise passed away peacefully at home the night of September 1st surrounded by his family and friends. David will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, and Tata who loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, jeeping, and taking family trips. David had a zeal for life, a witty humor, and charismatic smile that will never be forgotten. David is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Jean, his son and daughter; Alexis (Denise) and Veronica (Steven), and three grandsons. His mother Angelina, brothers Sylvester (Patti), Juan (Patricia), Martin (Gina), Steven, Teresa, and Mary. He is proceeded in death by his father Francisco Alvarez. David’s life will be celebrated by family and friend in a private ceremony.
