Marcelene Fay Elliott (née Schnelle) On Sept 2, 2020, Marcelene (Marcy) Elliott of Peachland, British Columbia passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 93. Marcy is survived by her daughters, Debbie Elliott and Darlene (Wade) Romanko both of Peachland; and her son, Tim (Janet) Elliott of Vermilion; grandchildren, Lindsay (Rod) Sutton of Sherwood Park, Chad (Stephanie) Romanko of Kelowna, and Lee (Michelle Townsley) Romanko of Kelowna; her great grandchildren Matty, Daniel, Maelle and Louis and her sister Darlene (Darrell) Edwards of Spruce Grove. Special in her heart and surviving her are also Tanya Roth, Faith Stewart, Beau Stewart and Sharon Stiele as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Elliott and her son Herbert (Herb) Elliott, mother March Schnelle (nee Rowles) and father Charles Schnelle, along with her sisters Grace Lowe, Anne Fletcher, Barbara Johnson, Frances Stangeland, Marlene Cawthorpe and brother Herbert Schnelle. Marcy had a sparkle in her eye and a zest for life. She was an active volunteer in her community and churches in both Edmonton and Peachland. She was also a graduate of the Calgary Business College. She loved family and friends as well as her garden and was canning peaches days before her death. A celebration of Marcy’s' life for family and close friends will he held at Evergreen Memorial in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marcy can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of British Columbia or to Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church in Peachland.
