Dorotha "Dot" May David
<p>Dorotha "Dot" M. David, age 67, of Ogallala, passed away, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Ogallala Community Hospital. </p> <p>Dorotha was born July 27, 1953 in Fort Worth, TX to Douglass King and Ruth Pauline (Stocker) Bridges.</p> <p>Dot moved to Conifer, CO as a young child with her parents. She attended schools in Conifer, moving to Glenwood, CO where she graduated High School and worked various jobs.</p> <p>In 1984 she was united in marriage to Brian David in Moab, Utah where they lived for 10 years. </p> <p>Dot and Brian moved to Ogallala in 1995. She worked for Arby's, house cleaning, and Wendy's. She retired in 2009.</p> <p>Her hobbies included; cross stitching, gardening, coloring, shopping with her daughter and enjoyed spending time with her Maltese, Bentley. She also enjoyed making flower arrangements for weddings and anniversaries. </p> <p>She was preceded in death by her mother and great-grandmother.</p> <p>Dot is survived by her husband, Brian David, of Ogallala; 1 son, Wayne Engelson, of Amarillo, TX; 1 daughter, Kristina Gentz, of Ogallala; 1 brother, Douglas Bridges, of Kalispell, MT; 1 sister, Anita Bryant, of Ventura, CA; and 3 grandchildren. </p> <p>Online condolences may be left at www.drauckerfh.com by clicking the Share a Memory or Tribute Wall button. </p> <p>Cremation was chosen.
