George Darrel Rowland, 87, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Rowland was born June 1, 1933 in Virginia to Silas Lee and Ruby Dot Shields. He served as a member of the United States Army and went on to retire from Brinks, as well as Pratt and Whitney. Mr. Rowland was a hard worker and wonderful, loving husband to his wife, Ingeborg. He is preceded in death by his two children, Karin Portillo and Gary Wells.

Surviving is his loving wife of 56 years, Ingeborg Rempel Rowland.
