Norbert Anthony Flottemesch Obituary

Norbert was born on September 3, 1941, marrying the love of his life, Marie (Lopinski), on November 21, 1964. Norbert grew up on a family farm, and after their marriage, Norbert and his wife began their farming legacy, along with their children Connie, Valerie, Dwayne, and Melanie. Their son Dwayne continues the family heritage with his farm. Norbert was a quiet man who loved his family dearly, and he will always be remembered for his gentle loving nature and having a smile on his face. Over the years Norbert’s family grew with grandchildren, great grandchildren and pets, you would always find him contently holding a baby or a puppy on his lap. In 2004, the family legacy grew as Norbert and Dwayne started a trucking company in addition to farming. Norbert genuinely loved the time he spent trucking and farming. In 2018 Norbert and Marie decided to retire, enjoying their new home in Saskatoon; they still loved to go back to the farm and helping when they could. Norbert is survived by his loving wife Marie and his four children, Connie (Joe) Glaves, Valerie (Dean) Schlosser, Dwayne (Paulette) Flottemesch, Melanie (Brent) Mensch and all their families. His brothers (Adolph) Flottemesch, Gary (Clara) Flottemesch, sister Mary (Jerry) Chaytors and brother in-law Glen Deobald and their families. Norbert was predeceased by his parents Gerhard and Rose (Heck) Flottemesch and sister Carol Deobald. Norbert will be greatly missed by his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
