Francisco Luna Jr. Obituary

Francisco was a kind and caring man who gave the best of himself to others.  Francisco was born in 1961 to his proud parents Francisco and Josephine Luna, He was the eldest of eight children and a born leader.  He married Shirley Ann Martinez and had a total of five children.  Francisco, Eliza, Joseph, Frankie and Isaiah.

Francisco worked many different jobs throughout his life with automotive mechanic being his final occupation for well over 10 years.  He was called into the ministry at a young age and eventually followed the burden of his heart in his early forties.   He was a minister at the Gates of /Grace church, his burden for souls was fuelled by his deep desire to share the gospel with the lost.

He wanted everyone to see and experience Gods love.  He touched many lives with prayers and words of encouragement.  He was no stranger to hospitals as he often went to pray for the sick and elderly.  His faith was tested when he was asked to pray for a person that was positive for covid 19.  He did not hesitate and instead said my God can heal anything.

Francisco loved children and was blessed with a total of fifteen grandkids, which he worked tirelessly to influence in his final years,

You always felt loved when you were around Francisco, he had a way of making us feel special and he was a great listener.  Advise was his forte; he experienced his share of pain and disappointment.  When Frank would say “I know what you’re you are going thru” nine times out of ten he really did.

Francisco passed away on August 10th 2020 leaving a huge void in our lives.  He loved the church and the fellowship of the brethren.  He was always involved in family activities.  He enjoyed reading, barbeques, water fights and was often laughing at the smallest details.

Although his life seems brief at only 58 he lived it to the fullest.  He will not be forgotten.
