<p><br /> Paula Kay Mayo, beloved Ashland native died peacefully Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the age of 64.<br /> Paula was born December 19, 1955, a daughter of the late Leonard James and Helen Kouns Clemons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Richard Clemons and sister, Deborah Clemons Meadows.<br /> Paula was a 1973 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and had worked since 1980 at the Ashland Alliance. She served on the committee for Winter Wonder Land of Lights and the Ashland Christmas Parade for 31 years. Family was most important to Paula and she was her happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. Throughout her extended illness she worked tirelessly to promote Ashland and help others in need. She was kind, caring, selfless and extremely understanding. She saw the very best in others and was loved by all who knew her.<br /> Those left to cherish her memory include her loving life partner of 40 years, Marshall Stambaugh of Ashland; daughters, Karen (Steve) Good of Portsmouth, OH, Alisha Stambaugh of Waterford, Michigan; son, Marshall Scott Stambaugh of Pontiac, Michigan; two granddaughters, Hayley (Tucker) Clay and Tajyanna Hall.
