Judith "Judy" Morrison
Judith “Judy” Shepperd Morrison, 87, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Ohio on October 30, 1932 to John Henry Shepperd. and Gertrude Roper Shepperd. She had been employed as a typesetter prior to marriage but became a homemaker who devoted her time and energy to the care of her family. She enjoyed playing golf, sewing and cooking, but she especially enjoyed her travels with her husband, Dick, across the United States. They also spent five summers in Alaska and two in Newfoundland. She was a member of The First Methodist Church of Jackson.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Morrison and brother, John Henry Shepperd, Jr.<br><br>She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Morrison; children, Patti (Jessie) Stephens, Rick (Jennifer) Morrison; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.<br><br>A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev.
