It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cynthia; loving daughter, sister, partner, step-mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Cynthia passed peacefully on September 2, 2020 with her brother Gary, sister Paulette, and partner, Duncan by her side. Cynthia was born and raised in Bonavista. She spent 30+ years working as a LPN at Golden Heights Manor. She was loved by all who knew her and always put others before herself. She had such a cheerful, upbeat personality and always had a smile on her face. Cynthia had the biggest heart and could fill a room with love and laughter like no one else. She loved her family and friends, especially her granddaughter, Lily, who was the light of her life. Cynthia leaves to mourn her parents, George and Gladys; brother, Gary (Florence); sister, Paulette (Ross); partner, Duncan; step-son Corwin (Bonnie); granddaughter, Lily; niece, Nicole (Steven); nephews, Mitchell (Vanessa) and Justin (Pam); great-niece Karli; great-nephews Kaden, Oliver, Bennett, Remi and Brody; special friends, Brenda, Roma, and Moe (Millicent); and a large circle of extended family and friends. “Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever.”
