Robert “Scott” Dowdall. 68 years, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2020 in Nanaimo, B.C. He was born Sept. 12, 1951 in Perth, Ontario and came to B.C. at the age of 10. He is survived by his wife, Mona, sons Matthew (Jodi), Jeff and granddaughter Emily and beloved brother of Linda (John Timmerman), Sharon (Barry Boynton) and Wendy (Ted Meynert) and many nieces and nephews. Scott was predeceased by his father William Robert John Dowdall (1962) and his mother Margaret Ruby McIvor (1998). Scott was a locksmith by trade for the last 53 years, avid fisherman and camper - especially up at Quadra Island. He is now on his final fishing trip. Scott will be missed by the many people who loved him and will not be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favourite charity.
