<p>Sammy Joe Fisher, 81, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Self Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fisher was born in Waynesville, NC to the late Ben F. and Bertha E. Kirkpatrick Fisher.</p> <p>He served in the United States Army and after many years of dedicated service retired from the North Carolina Highway Patrol and South Carolina Highway Patrol.</p> <p>Surviving Mr. Fisher are his children; two brothers; a sister; and many close friends.</p> <p>All services will be private.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
