We celebrate the life of Marie Eugenie Bellejambe, affectionately known as “Mom" and "Grandma”. Mom was born on February 20, 1933 in Harlem, New York. She is the beloved daughter of Rene and Melanie Bellejambe. Sister of Raymond Alford and Alexander Bellejambe. Beloved niece of Alcinia Morris. Eternal partner to James H. Louallen.
She retired from the NYC Department of Education and has since been fulfilling that role of "Mom" and "Grandma" above and beyond any earthly expectations. For Mom loved the Lord and her light shone as a beacon and a testimony of that love, just think of her smile. She walked the way of a good servant right here on earth. She didn't just talk about it, she lived it. She always had a God bless you and I love you for everyone. She loved her family. She loved her friends. What a fiercely loyal woman she was.

Gail, Vinnette, and Ashton, Mom loved you guys just as she loved your Mother. Her best buddy and our Aunt Cora,
Our own friends became Mom's adopted children. Co-workers and now their children, neighbors young and old. Doctors, nurses everybody got pulled in by her loving spirit. Can't get away from people asking "How's your mom doing?" "Tell her I said hi!”
Mom, thank you for your enormous sacrifices and unconditional love. We are forever grateful to you. Your love has no limit, no boundaries, no conditions attached. You have handled us with love and grace, even when we didn't deserve it. Always a safe space, a calm grace, a motherly hug and an infectious smile.
Those of us left behind stand as a testament to you, and vow to pay your love forward.
To do you proud. Ronald said to us, "we should never be lonely without you because you’re in our blood. You’re in our spirit”. So profound... We miss you Mom. We will carry you with us always. Thanks for giving us life. The Lord must be so pleased to have you by His side. Well done thy good and faithful servant.
"WE LOVE YOU MOM!"
