DAVID D. MYERS August 27, 2020 Funeral services for David Myers, 58 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly Thursday at his home in Buffalo, will be held Friday, September 4th at 10:00 a.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later time. Donations in David’s memory may be made to the David Myers Memorial Fund, set up to help with final expenses. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com David Dean Myers was born on September 18, 1962 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Dean and DeVonne Myers. He grew up and started school in Green River, Wyoming and moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in 1977 and graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 1981. After high school he attended Weber State for one year. David was a musician and played in a traveling band and played in concert in a warm up band for Joan Jet. He was married in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada in 1985 to Ina Backstrom and they made their home in Medicine Hat. David and Ina had two children, Dean and Denae. They were divorced and he was married on November 10, 1992 to Robin Hill in Buffalo where they made their home for a short time before moving to Spokane, Washington. In 1995 they moved to Riverton, Wyoming where David was a radio announcer and also worked as an E.M.T. They lived between Washington and Wyoming for the next seventeen years, moving back to Buffalo in 2016 and operated the Wyo Motel. Robin passed away in January of 2019 and David continued living in Buffalo until his death. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the mountains. He loved watching his nieces and nephews in their school events and had a passion for music. He is survived by his mother, Dee Myers of Kaycee; one son Dean Myers and one daughter Denae O’Brien and her husband Luke all of Canada; five sisters, Dana George and her husband Brice of Kaycee, Diana Burch of Dallas, Texas, Dayle Kolb and her husband Pat of Highland, Michigan, Dawn Dietz and her husband Ray of Kearney, Nebraska and Debi Disbrow of Fredrick, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his wife and his father.
