<p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><strong><em>Daniel John Fitzpatrick, 72, passed from this life on August 31, 2020. Born on April 21, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John Francis and Gertrude (Focazio) Fitzpatrick.</em></strong></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><strong><em>Danny, as he was known, attended local schools and graduated from the former Bishop Duffy High School. He earned his Bachelors Degree from SUNY Cortland and then went on working for Orkin Pest Control in Texas as a District Manager. Following his retirement, he settled on the Island of Isla Mujeres in Mexico and recently came back to Niagara Falls upon his illness to be with his family.</em></strong></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><strong><em>Danny is survived by children, Brian Fitzpatrick and David Fitzpatrick; 1 granddaughter; siblings, Joan Denton, Maureen Fitzpatrick, Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, Eileen Burkett, Trudy Trainor and Joseph (Debbie Rosen) Fitzpatrick and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Denise Fitzpatrick.</em></strong></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:22px;"><strong><em>Danny’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at St. John de LaSalle Church, with Rev. Slavomir Siok, SAC serving as celebrant. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Family and friends invited.
