Robert J. “Bob” Babarsky, 48, of Ringtown, passed away on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Born in Ashland, Pa on May 28th, 1972, he was the son of the late Robert A. Babarsky and Beverly Parrish.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Andrea “Ang” Babarsky, 1 son, Gary Babarsky – Ringtown, 2 daughters, Breanna Babarsky with Tyler Leitzel – Ringtown and Ashley Babarsky with Damian Sharp – Ringtown.  4 grandchildren who were his pride and joy- Adelyn, Carson, Hadleigh, and Kensleigh.  Also surviving are 2 brothers, Jason and Ronald Babarsky, 6 sisters, Tammy Murphy, Amber Davidson, Tiffany Mosquera, Hope McManus, Roxanne Babarsky, and Rachelle Babarsky, along with several nieces, nephews and many great friends.

Bob was a hard working man, he held a position at Walmart Distribution as a Dry Side Receiver, besides that, he and Ang own/operate the Wagon Wheel Bar and Restaurant in Ringtown, Pa, and Bob had more recently opened his own general contracting business enabling him to help others improve their homes.  Bob was an avid pool player and belonged to several pool leagues including: the Northern Valley Pool League, the McAdoo-Hazleton Pool League, the American Pool Association, and he was the Schuylkill County Division owner of the NAPA Pool League.  He also enjoyed playing cards in his down time.  Above all else, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a wonderful family man who worked hard and provided for his family.  He will always be remembered as a selfless and caring person who went above and beyond to help those in need. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4th from 2pm to 6pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah.  Immediately following services, there will be a motorcycle ride leaving from the funeral home.  Please bring your bike and join in Bob’s Last Ride.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the: Robert J. “Bob” Babarsky Memorial Scholarship Fund.
