         1950 – 2020

Carolyn Glendenning, wife of Stephen Glendenning of Black River Bridge, NB passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the age of 69.

Born in Florenceville, NB on December 25, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Leona Chaters.  She worked at Wilson Display and Advertising in Ontario as an Overhead Crain Operator for many years.  She was part of the Legion in Ontario as a Youth & Education Instructor.  She loved going into the schools and speaking to the students and telling them all about the Veterans and Legion.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Glendenning; one daughter, Tracy Fitzgerald of Ontario; one son, James Glendenning of Ontario; one step-daughter, Kim Glendenning of Ontario; eleven grandchildren: Stephen, Tyler, Shane, Jimmy, Ashley, Alex, Jeffery, Lamia, Hunter, Talon, and Nollan; four sisters: Leona, Shelly, Lesley and Sherry; two brothers: Everette and Jimmy.  She was predeceased by her parents.

As per Carolyn’s request there will be no visitation.  A graveside service was held at Black River Community Cemetery on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11 am with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating.   Music for the service was provided by Rev. Ross Wiseman and the hymns were “We Have an Anchor” and “How Great Thou Art”.  The eulogy was presented by grandson Stephen.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
