Brandon Russell Plum, 36 of Independence, WV passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 as a result of a Razor Side by Side accident. He was born in Kingwood on November, 28, 1983, son of Charles “Chuck” Alan and Teressa Alice Matlick Plum of Newburg. Brandon graduated from Preston High School Class of 2002. Brandon was a great husband, wonderful father, and one of the hardest working individuals you would ever meet. He was very generous and giving person and would help anyone and everyone. He loved spending time with the kids and family, camping, hunting and riding. Brandon worked with the Local Operating Engineers Local Union 132 where he ran heavy machinery. In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his wife, Kristen Nicole Stemple Plum; three children, Jaden Russell Plum, Alivia Nicole Plum, Tucker Warren Stemple, his fur baby, Meeka; two sisters, Latricia Wolfe and Alex, Bridgeport,  Brianna Wilson and Sam, Colebank; three nieces, Hallie Wolfe, Audrey Wolfe, Brooke Wolfe, and Brianna’s furchildren; paternal grandmother, Marcina Mitter Plum, Newburg; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Judy Maxwell Matlick, Newburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tony and Weedle Harmison Stemple, Grafton; one sister-in-law, Megan Stemple and Aaron Shipp and children, Grady, Jurnee and Coaltin Shipp; one brother-in-law, Ethan Stemple and child, Denton Stemple; three aunts, Pam Trickett and John, Gladesville, Brenda DeBastiani and Eric, Morgantown and Sherrie Casteel and Lee, Marquess, numerous cousins, and friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Russell Plum. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 2PM to 7PM with proper distancing and face mask required. Brandon would want donations made to the Pratt Cemetery P.O. Box 232 Newburg, WV 26410 instead of flowers because it meant so much to him and he would visit his grandfather regularly.
