<p>Hartsville, S.C.</p> <p>Graveside services for John Wiley Rhodes age 79 will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Ladell Humphries will officiate. Visitation will be following the service at the cemetery.</p> <p>Wiley was born in Hartsville a son of the late Julius A. and Sara Margaret Harrell Rhodes. He was a member of North Hartsville Baptist Church. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company after 40 years of service and a member of the Old Timers Club. He was an avid Gamecock Fan and loved to fish.</p> <p>Surviving are two sons, Chad (Karen) Rhodes, Fort Campbell, KY and John Rhodes, Lancaster, S.C.; one sister, Jane (Richard) Cheshire, Hartsville; one brother, J.C. (Ann) Rhodes, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Noah & Chapin Rhodes, Hartsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Nelms Rhodes; one son, Jeff Rhodes; one brother, William Curtis Rhodes.</p> <p>Memorials may be made to North Hartsville Baptist Church, 1117 Patrick Highway, Hartsville, SC 29550.</p> <p>Norton Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rhodes family.</p>Obituary
