Loretta Ann (Lockhart) Worthy passed from this life on August 27th, 2020, in Checotah, Oklahoma. She was born as the last child to Palmer and Pollyanna (Thompson) Lockhart on September 3rd, 1955 in Schulter, Oklahoma.  She was baptized on May 30th ,1967 into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. She was united in marriage to Michael Worthy on July 14th,1979 in Homestead, Oklahoma. Loretta requested that in her obituary she have the opportunity to praise God one more time for the great gifts that He gave her in the births of her three daughters, Ginger, Lisa, and Lacy. “They are the best gifts God could have given me in this life. They gave me joy and happiness and I am forever grateful for God’s wonderful blessings.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a beloved nephew, Jason. She is survived by her husband Michael, of the home, daughter Ginger and husband (John) Mitchell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter Lisa and husband (Eric) Wells of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and daughter Lacy and husband (Alex) Washington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Sister Karen
Rodgers of Enid, Oklahoma; brother Charles and wife (Gaylene) Lockhart of Globe, Arizona; brother Dean Lockhart of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and one precious grandson, Sam Mitchell, of
Shawnee, Oklahoma.
